The initial prototype for NEB. 

Move left and right, auto-shoot baddies on the beat, get weapons, keep your shields repaired. 

The game is over if you survive for 5 minutes, or if an enemy reaches the bottom of the screen.

CONTROLS

  • Arrow keys or tap (mobile) - Move left and right
  • Enter or click/tap to choose upgrade/slot assignment 

GAMEPLAY

  • Assign items to 1 of 4 beat slots
    • Each auto-fires on that beat
  • You will find more weapons and a shield repair tool
  • The shields will break after enemies hit them 3 times
    • Their hits trigger every few seconds if up against a shield
  • XP is dropped when enemies are killed, and collects along the movement area


Current Status

NEB is being developed in Unity.  Check out my instagram to follow development.

    • Bosses unlock new permanent abilities
    • Abilities and base stats can be upgraded

    • No button pressing

      • how cosmic threads may transcend a corrupt world

              • the collective unconscious?
